The Church and the European Union

An interesting peice of well, journalism, by EU realist onthe Church and the European Union and the subtle way in which the former attempts to support the latter. Suprising considering that the support is not recipricated, with things such as the Buttiglione affair and the explicit rejection of any mention of Christianity in the constitution. However when you consider that both are intrinsically anti-democratic it becomes less suprising.
